As an Inspector, you will be a crucial part of our team, performing visual and dimensional inspections on jet engine parts and ensuring every component meets our rigorous safety and quality standards. You will be instrumental in determining the future of parts and modules, ensuring that only the best get back in the air.
Job Responsibility:
Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections on dismantled engine parts
Determine the condition of parts (good as is, repair, or scrap) and initiate necessary actions
Ensure all work is traceable by accurately closing out tasks in the ERP system
Conduct incoming and final inspections of parts after repair or purchase
Take the lead in urgent situations, making quick and proactive decisions
Requirements:
Superior technical secondary school degree (A2) with a strong foundation in mechanics or a bachelor's degree in aviation
Proven experience as an aeronautical technician and as an Inspector
Excellent knowledge of aircraft engines
Very good knowledge of technical English
Must be legally authorized to work in Belgium
Nice to have:
Some knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
Stress-resistant and proactive, with the ability to take responsibility and make decisions in urgent situations
Flexible and adaptable to changing working conditions
Team-oriented and supportive of colleagues in a multilingual environment
Willingness to work 2 shifts (6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm)
