Java Engineer

• Developing and implementing software components, applications, tools and system modules in accordance with organizational standards and project requirements
• Performing fault analysis, debugging and troubleshooting across existing systems and contribute to stabilization and continuous improvement activities
• Integrating systems, applications, services and databases, ensuring interoperability, data consistency and compliance with architectural guidelines
• Applying suitable development languages, scripting tools, frameworks and methodologies according to the technical landscape of the Ordering Party
• Preparing and documenting operational requirements, system performance parameters and system configuration specifications
• Collaborating closely with infrastructure, network and architecture teams to support seamless system and network integration
• Using appropriate integration tools, patterns and processes to connect heterogeneous platforms and ensure reliable data and service exchange
• Contributing code reviews, technical documentation and quality assurance activities
• In agile projects, working as an active member of a Scrum Team with a solid understanding of Scrum ceremonies, artefacts and development workflows

• Commercial development experience as a Java Developer for 3+ years
• Strong knowledge and experience with Java 11+, Spring, Spring Boot
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technology
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL DB
• Confident knowledge and experience with microservice architecture
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above
• Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above

Experience with Kafka

• Experience in teamwork with leaders in FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, and others
