The international IT сompany Andersen invites a Java Engineer with Camunda to work on large-scale projects. Andersen is a pre-IPO software development company providing a full cycle of services. Job Responsibility:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Camunda BPMN
  • Modeling, implementing, and optimizing business workflows using Camunda BPMN and DMN
  • Designing and implementing scalable, microservice-based architectures with RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication
  • Integrating Camunda processes into distributed systems and ensuring high performance and reliability
  • Writing and optimizing SQL/NoSQL queries to support complex data operations
  • Participating in code reviews, sharing best practices, and mentoring junior developers
  • Collaborating closely with architects, DevOps, and QA engineers to ensure high delivery quality
  • Taking initiative in improving processes, automation, and code quality standards

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience as a Java Developer for 3+ years
  • Strong proficiency with Java 11+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with Camunda BPM (process modeling, orchestration, and integration)
  • Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider (GCP/Azure)
  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment
  • Solid understanding of microservice architecture and REST-based communication
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions)
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above

Nice to have:

  • Experience integrating Camunda with external systems (via REST, Java delegates, or message queues)
  • Knowledge of BPMN/DMN best practices, versioning, and workflow optimization
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ)
  • Understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers)
  • Experience with API Gateway / Service Mesh (Kong, Istio) setups
  • Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, Keycloak, JWT)
