Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing robust, scalable, and cloud-native applications using Java, with a strong focus on microservices architecture. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the entire software development lifecycle in an agile environment.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and resilient backend services using Java and the Spring Framework
Implement and manage microservices architectures, focusing on creating modular, loosely coupled services
Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems
Build and deploy cloud-ready applications leveraging cloud platforms
Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high code quality and reliability
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, DevOps, and other stakeholders
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle within an Agile framework
Optimize application performance, focusing on speed, scalability, and efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

3-5 years of hands-on experience in backend development with Java
Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11/17+), including its ecosystem and best practices
Expert-level knowledge and practical experience with Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architectures
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including deploying and managing applications
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and SQL, including writing efficient queries
Proficiency with Git (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket)
Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) and test-driven development (TDD)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Nice to have:

Experience with messaging queues/event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
Understanding of security best practices in application development and cloud environments
Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience with a front-end framework (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js)
