Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications within a dynamic Telco IT environment. This role involves leading technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of services and front-end applications. You will also support deployments and incident handling in production environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and perform unit testing for Java/Spring Boot applications
  • Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing innovative solutions
  • Translate design specifications into robust implementations
  • Configure and manage technical dependencies across teams
  • Define and configure interfaces for data exchange between services and front-end applications
  • Present design and implementation details to solution designers, testers, and DevOps engineers
  • Analyse defects and provide timely fixes
  • Handle incidents and complex failure scenarios in production alongside DevOps engineers
  • Support DevOps teams for deployments across environments

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot development (minimum 5 years)
  • At least 2 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud environments
  • Agile mindset with experience in hybrid agile/waterfall methodologies
  • Familiarity with Telco business processes (Cable/TV)
  • Proficient in tools such as Confluence, Jira, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Agile frameworks like SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps practices
  • Educational qualifications: B.E./B.Tech, BCA/MCA, BSc/MSc (Computer Science)
