Job Description:

The Java Cloud Engineer will work on developing, testing, and maintaining Java applications while leveraging cloud technologies to innovate and optimize solutions. The role involves containerization and orchestration, using tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, and contributing to high-quality, secure cloud environments. Job Responsibility:

Develop, test and maintain Java applications
Use Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
Navigate databases and version control systems like Git
Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions
Utilize virtualization, containerization, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
Collaborate with cross-departmental teams
Debug and resolve technical issues
Ensure secure and efficient cloud solutions
Follow cloud-native and serverless architectures
Optimize performance and write technical documentation

Requirements:

Java
Spring Boot
Cloud-based provisioning
Monitoring
Troubleshooting
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes…)
CI/CD tools
Infrastructure as a Code
Agile
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant equivalent
English (required), French and/or Dutch desirable
