This contract-to-hire role will serve as the primary onsite IT presence, providing hands-on technical support across office and manufacturing environments. The position also supports additional Iowa locations and works closely with remote IT leadership. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-demand manufacturing environment while managing day-to-day support, site visits, and communication across locations.
Job Responsibility:
Provide on-site and remote IT support for office and manufacturing users
Act as the primary IT contact for multiple Iowa locations, maintaining regular on-site presence
Manage and resolve service requests and incidents through the ticketing system
Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues with urgency and ownership
Collaborate with IT managers and distributed teams to ensure consistent support
Document issues, solutions, and follow established IT policies and procedures
Requirements:
Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or production environment
Proficiency with O365, Active Directory, and SCCM
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently
2+ years of IT support or technical analyst experience
Technical degree, certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
