We are looking for an experienced IT Support specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Mokena, Illinois. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for technical assistance, supporting a team of 50-60 users within a Microsoft-based environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual with strong troubleshooting skills to contribute to a dynamic organization.
Job Responsibility:
Provide first-line IT support for 50-60 users, addressing technical issues and software inquiries
Troubleshoot and resolve problems within the Microsoft ecosystem, including OneDrive, Teams, and Office applications
Respond to user requests primarily through Teams messages, ensuring timely and effective communication
Document and manage cases using the NetSuite ticketing system, maintaining accurate records
Support workstation and application issues, escalating more complex problems as needed
Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing user concerns and technical challenges
Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations by resolving productivity-related issues
Work independently as the sole IT resource, managing priorities and multitasking effectively
Collaborate with team members when necessary to ensure seamless IT support
Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and resolving recurring technical issues
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Support or Help Desk roles
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, OneDrive, and Windows environments
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as NetSuite
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach
Solid troubleshooting skills for resolving software and productivity-related issues
Experience with Active Directory and basic troubleshooting techniques
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
