Airbus Defence & Space is looking for an IT Solution Architect for Data Regulatory Compliance (f/m) to join our Digital Aviation Team. You will be part of a team developing strategic digital solutions for the Defence & Space division. As part of the Enterprise Architecture Team, you will be involved in designing secure and compliant IT landscapes aiming at safeguarding our data assets while enabling digital innovation.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the Architectural Design: define end-to-end functional and technical architectures specifically tailored to meet complex data regulations (Export Control, ITAR, GDPR), ensuring security and compliance by design
Bridge Legal & Tech: convert legal mandates into actionable technical specifications, policies, and system configurations for our development teams
Evaluate Secure Technologies: research and select the best tools for Data Loss Prevention (DLP), encryption, data masking, and identity management (IAM) that align with our infrastructure
Guide Implementation: provide technical leadership to DevSecOps teams during deployment, ensuring that the solutions built strictly adhere to the defined architectural standards
Mitigate Risks: proactively identifying compliance risks in our IT landscape, design robust mitigation strategies to minimize exposure to regulatory violations
Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Architecture
At least 3-5 years focused on Data Regulatory Compliance (GDPR, ITAR, Export Control) within a complex enterprise environment
Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF/Zachman), Cloud Services (Azure/AWS/GCP), and Data Security technologies (DLP, IAM, Encryption)
Strong analytical mindset, ability to influence stakeholders, and excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to both legal and technical audiences
Fluent level in English is mandatory
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities
The candidate must possess French nationality in accordance with IGI 1300 of August 9, 2021 (§1.2.2.1)
