Our Calgary client is seeking a high-performing Project Controller to join their Enterprise Security team for a long-term contract running through December 31, 2026. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, elite team where you will have a direct hand in maturing a growing Project Management Office (PMO). If you are a proactive professional who enjoys a "wide-angle view" of an organization, spanning everything from cybersecurity and executive protection to field construction, this multi-year engagement offers the stability and variety you are looking for.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain project reporting standards, including detailed status updates, financial tracking, and schedule management
  • Lead the 2027 forecasting process by gathering estimations from various business leaders and stakeholders
  • Support the growth of the PMO by identifying and implementing process improvements to move the department toward higher maturity levels
  • Set up project structures, WBS codes, and purchase requisitions within SAP
  • Develop and manage interdisciplinary automated dashboards to track performance metrics across the department
  • Collaborate with project managers to review estimates, risks, and contractual requirements for IT and construction projects
  • Present detailed project cost reports and scorecards to management and executive stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven background in Lean Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Strong experience with SAP for project setup, budget maintenance, and financial requisitions
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerBI with the ability to build and maintain automated digital dashboards
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to provide options and feedback to senior leadership
  • Prior experience in a hybrid Business Analyst and Project Controls role within a growing PMO environment
What we offer:
  • You will work across a broad spectrum of the business, interacting with everyone from field technicians to the Executive Leadership Team
  • This contract is scheduled through the end of 2026, with a high likelihood of multi-year renewals based on your performance
  • Enjoy a standard schedule with no anticipated overtime or travel requirements
  • Benefit from a modern work arrangement that blends remote work with collaborative in-office days
  • You will play a central role in growing the PMO maturity level, meaning your suggestions and process improvements will be highly valued
