Job Description:

IT Project Assistant position in the IT Operations team at METLEN Energy & Metals, responsible for monitoring and coordinating IT projects, collaborating with support teams, communicating with vendors, maintaining documentation, and providing helpdesk support

Job Responsibility:

Monitor and coordinate IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
Collaborate with support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth system operations
Communicate with external vendors on procurement, contracts, and technical support
Prepare and maintain project documentation, performance reports, and IT asset records
Provide helpdesk support, handling user requests and escalating incidents where necessary
Support onboarding of new employees with IT equipment and access (laptop, email, mobile, etc.)

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Master's degree will be considered a plus
+2 years of experience in IT operations
Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of ITIL or ISO procedures will be considered an advantage

Nice to have:

Master's degree
Knowledge of ITIL or ISO procedures
