Job Description:

As an IT Business Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business requirements and technology solutions within the bank’s core banking environment. You will be responsible for analysing business needs, designing functional solutions, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements and integration projects. This role will see you leading requirement workshops, documenting functional specifications, and ensuring that system changes align with business and regulatory expectations. You will also work closely with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive project delivery, system testing, user training, and production releases. A strong background in core banking systems, especially in areas such as Client Output Management, Trade Lifecycle, Payments, and Account Statements will be essential to excel in this position.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 12 years of experience in business analysis or systems engineering within the banking and financial services sector
  • Proven expertise in core banking systems (experience with Temenos Transact/T24 or similar platforms preferred)
  • Strong understanding of private banking products and related business processes
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
