Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team in Southern California. In this long-term contract role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in marketing technologies, business systems, and technical documentation.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications
Partner with developers, system architects, and technical program managers to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives
Conduct feasibility analyses to assess the technical viability of proposed solutions and provide strategic recommendations
Oversee the development, testing, and deployment phases to ensure solutions meet both technical and business needs
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system requirements, technical designs, flowcharts, and deployment plans
Ensure seamless integration between various systems and applications by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors
Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and governance policies
Analyze system performance and provide insights to optimize functionality and user experience
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience working with B2C applications and marketing technologies (MarTech)
Proficient in creating technical documents such as system requirements and technical design specifications
Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and database management
Experience integrating MarTech systems with other applications, APIs, and databases
Strong understanding of software development, solution architecture, and implementation of medium to large-scale systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work
Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams seamlessly.
