This industry-leading consumer goods delivery company in Downtown Montreal is looking for a IT Business Analyst - Dayforce.
Job Responsibility:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits and Operational stakeholders to identify and define business requirements for our Ceridian Dayforce HRIS and Payroll system
Conduct detailed analysis of existing processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Document business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases, ensuring clear communication between business users and the development team
System Implementation and Integration: Work closely with IT teams and external vendors to design and implement system enhancements, customizations, and integrations with other enterprise systems
Participate in system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure it aligns with business requirements
Provide support during system deployment and post-implementation phases to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption
Data Management and Reporting: Analyze HR and Payroll data to generate valuable insights and identify trends, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support HR and Payroll reporting needs and regulatory compliance
Process Improvement and Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and streamlining within HR and Payroll functions
Propose innovative solutions and best practices to enhance system efficiency and user experience
Compliance and Security: Ensure the HRIS and Payroll system's compliance with relevant data privacy regulations, industry standards, and internal security policies
Proactively monitor and mitigate potential data integrity and security risks within the system
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on system functionality, ensuring effective system utilization
Serve as a point of contact for system-related inquiries and issue resolution
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on HRIS and Payroll systems, preferably in medium to large-sized organizations
Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes, data structures, and best practices
Familiarity with popular HRIS and Payroll systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP) and their modules
Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
Project management experience and understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) is a plus
