Job Description:

Join Our Team as an IT Assistant! Are you passionate about technology and eager to make a difference in a vibrant nonprofit setting? We are looking for a dedicated IT Assistant to support our organisation's IT infrastructure in Camden, London. This is a temporary contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to help users thrive in their roles!

Job Responsibility:

Resolve user problems related to hardware and software
Keep our service desk tickets updated using Jira
Deliver engaging user training on IT systems
Collaborate with the IT team to enhance service quality
Conduct preventative maintenance of servers and systems
Perform daily operational tasks with guidance
Maintain our IT knowledge base and liaise with external service providers
Prepare meeting rooms with the latest AV technology
Support examination sittings requiring computer access
Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices
Maintain records according to data protection policies
Contribute to our sustainability initiatives

Requirements:

At least one year in a first or second line support role within a Windows environment
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products and IT security principles
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Self-starter with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth
Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of information
