Job Description:

As part of our technology team, your innovative tech ideas can inform and guide the delivery of health care to members across our system. This senior individual contributor position is responsible for the development of internet applications and software tools.

Job Responsibility:

  • Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area

  • development of internet applications and software tools
  • working with product teams to understand and contribute to defining the product vision
  • developing and supporting end-to-end solutions including architecting, designing, developing, and testing member-facing applications/systems using cloud, content management systems (CMS) and traditional integrations
  • performing hands-on development of cloud applications, CMS, and integration solutions on a variety of platforms
  • researching and resolving technical issues and recommending appropriate interventions/modifications as needed
  • ensuring work processes and products meet KP IT security and development standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and four (4) years experience in software development or a related field
  • Minimum three (3) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions development life cycles (e.g., SDLC)
  • Minimum one (1) year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports
  • Minimum two (2) years experience developing and/or implementing web-based applications
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in developing and utilizing cloud based technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Minimum two (2) years experience working with web application frameworks (e.g., Angular, HTML5, CSS, GraphQL, etc.)

Nice to have:

  • Two (2) years experience developing micro services and APIs (e.g., Java, Node.js, NoSQL DBs, etc.)
  • Three (3) years experience in utilizing DevSecOps practices (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Mavin, SonarQube, etc.)
