Job Description:

We are looking for an IT Admin and Support Technician to join our team. This role is UK based with occasional travel to continental Europe. To support our continued growth we are looking for an IT Support and Administration technician to join the London Support Team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with people, and keeping systems running smoothly behind the scenes. This role will be based in the UK and will provide support for Hotels and Support Offices across easyHotel, including in the UK, France, Spain and the Netherlands. easyHotel offers an entrepreneurial environment where the right candidate can really grow in their role, taking on more responsibilities and a wider remit than perhaps would be possible elsewhere. Job Responsibility:

  • inventory of IT Assets, referencing, upgrades, installation, and configuration
  • Networks, servers, Wifi services and monitoring
  • Cost control: organization, assets, software licences
  • Continuous improvement
  • Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats
  • Creating and disabling user accounts and monitoring access control
  • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration
  • Issues: troubleshooting and resolving
  • Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize systems
  • Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems
  • You will be the point of contact on IT subjects of our colleagues

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar and/or applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification
  • At least two years' experience in an IT Support role, ideally in a comparable business based over multiple sites
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
  • Exceptional, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
