Job Description:

This is a non-paid academic internship for students looking to complete their Program requirements. The internship will commence in January or February with a minimum of 12 weeks. The intern will work with the Communications & PR team at IKEA Belgium, gaining experience in strategic communication, media relations, and creative PR approaches.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze & re-work the LinkedIn strategy for IKEA Belgium and the CEO
Help organize corporate and/or commercial PR events
Write corporate and commercial PR press releases
Identify social media trends & introduce us to Belgian lifestyle content creators for possible collaborations
Identify best practices/interesting PR cases from competitors
Support in everyday activities including meetings with agencies, team and internal stakeholders
Attend press interviews and shootings

Requirements:

Studying Public relations or Communications
Minimum 12 weeks internship
Native Dutch or French speaking
Fluent in the other language (Dutch/French)
Strong knowledge of English
Interest in Life at Home and IKEA culture and values
Affinity with creating engaging communication and working with media relations and stakeholder management

Nice to have:

Love the mix of both strategic and creative thinking
Eager to know more about and live the IKEA culture and values
Interest in turning communication trends into practice
