Job Responsibility:
Trouble shooting on PureSOx systems, including: Preparation of job by collecting documents, drawings, software and parts if needed
Install or replace new parts
Download, upload and test new version of PLC and/or HMI software
Tune pump VFDs
Calibrate measurement instruments (pH, PAH, gas analyser)
Test alarm functions
Verify compliance of job with Global Technical Specialist
PureSOx system site support and commissioning at shipyard
PureSOx systems condition audit and sensor exchange
Reports daily progress to IMS Global Technical Specialist and Global Coordinator
Instructions to crew about cause of trouble and updates
Timely submission of time sheets, expense reports, etc.
Assisting other EGC departments with various jobs upon request
Requirements:
Marine Engineering background with good hands-on electrical skills
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Marine Engineer, on board or on a yard, or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience for comparable installations
