Job Description:

US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate position focused on transforming health care for customers. Role supports pharmacy teams to deliver on brand promise while developing skills for increasing responsibility. After passing FPGEE and TOEFL, eligible to complete required US Internship hours to become ready for Pharmacist role. Under preceptor direction, complete mixed modality learning plan to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must complete internship within 18 months and be prepared to pass Pharmacist licensure exams within 120-days of completion.

Job Responsibility:

Complete required US Internship hours and apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
Assist pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill patients' prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations
Operate as part of pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures
Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in customer interactions
Contribute to safe and inclusive culture
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation
Create heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients
Offer immunizations and other services
Demonstrate compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems
Offer to counsel and field medical questions under pharmacist supervision
Take telephonic prescriptions from prescriber
Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching to team members
Complete basic inventory activities
Contribute to high-performing team
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
Understand and comply with all relevant laws and regulations
Deliver additional patient health care services where allowable by law

Requirements:

Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
FPGEC certification
Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Ability to work in home store and across the market in other locations
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
