Job Description:

The role involves completing a US pharmacy internship to build knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for Pharmacist licensure. It includes responsibilities in patient safety, customer service, regulatory compliance, pharmacy operations, leadership, and health care service delivery under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Job Responsibility:

Greet customers in a professional manner
assist pharmacy and front store customers
answer telephone calls
perform approved register transactions
comply with federal and state laws
resolve third-party claim rejections
maintain inventory management standards
support training and development of staff
lead team to meet pharmacy goals and deliver personalized care
assist with additional health services including immunization preparation and delivery
provide counseling under direct supervision of a pharmacist.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
eligibility to immunize
0 to 3 years of prior related work experience preferred
18 months to complete internship and obtain Pharmacist licensure
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
ability to lift and exert up to 20 lbs.
