Job Description:

This position is for Non-US Accredited Foreign Pharmacy Graduates to complete required US Internship hours that build upon Pharmacist education to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities. The role involves working under direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy environment, ensuring safe and effective operations while delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibility:

Complete required US Internship hours within 18 months
Prepare to pass all required Pharmacist licensure exams within 120 days of internship completion
Patient Safety
Pharmacy Professional Practice
Regulatory compliance
Quality Assurance
Customer Service
Inventory Management
Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification
Process prescriptions including translation of SIG codes, product selection, counting drugs
Resolve third party rejections
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality
Adhere to CVS workflow standards
Support supervising pharmacist in dispensing drugs

Requirements:

Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy
Active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
Passed FPGEE and TOEFL exams
Strong communication and presentation skills
Digital literacy
Time management
Emotional intelligence
Patient counseling skills
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally

Nice to have:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Eligibility to immunize
3 to 5 years relevant work experience
