We’re looking for an Internal Sales Executive with a strong technical foundation and a commercial mindset. The role: Reporting to the Marketing and Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for a achieving sales target across our Key Accounts while supporting the wider consultative sales process. The Internal Sales Executive will combine technical knowledge with commercial drive, supporting Hutchi’s Key Accounts through targeted sales activity, proactive customer engagement, and the preparation and delivery of technically robust quotations. The role will actively manage inbound and outbound enquiries, nurture relationships with new and existing customers, and maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver against allocated sales targets for Key Accounts and support small-deal revenue generation
Manage inbound and outbound sales activity across email, telephone, and digital channels to ensure timely follow-up and strong conversion
Prepare accurate technical quotations using QuoteWorks, ensuring commercial alignment and technical feasibility
Support Business Development Managers by progressing early-stage opportunities, qualifying leads, and maintaining momentum in the sales cycle
Engage proactively with new and existing customers, building trust and long-term relationships
Collaborate closely with TechDev Department and Key Account Managers to align customer requirements with technically sound solutions
Maintain an organised and up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and follow-up
Contribute to product sales initiatives and standalone product campaigns to support wider business development efforts
Produce supporting sales documentation, scopes, and proposals when needed
Work collaboratively with Marketing, Project Management, Technical, and Service & Maintenance teams to ensure seamless progression of opportunities
Monitor trends, customer needs, and cross-selling opportunities to support Hutchi’s growth strategy
Requirements:
Previous experience in a sales executive or technical sales support role, with proven experience preparing technical quotations
Experience with at least one of the following technologies: Audio-visual experience is mandatory
Feature lighting
Aerial/Satellite and signal distribution
Voice & data infrastructure
Access control systems & equipment (smart cards & wearables)
IP telecoms solutions
QuoteWorks experience or similar quoting platform (mandatory)
Commercially astute, with an understanding of pricing structures, margins, and commercial risk
Proven ability to build relationships with new and existing customers
Experience developing product sales pipelines and supporting sales initiatives
Strong communication skills for customer-facing and internal collaboration
A proactive, energetic, and solutions-focused approach
Highly organised and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
Clean and relevant driving licence
Nice to have:
Experience with lighting (DMX), signal distribution, networking, access control, or IP telecoms is highly beneficial
