The intern will work for Marriott’s Area Revenue team and will be based in the Jakarta area office. The intern will assist in projects, and supporting initiatives related to hotel operations.
Job Responsibility:
Review and summarize reports
Perform basic analysis using Excel and other relevant analytical tools
Take lead of projects such as Revenue Management Projects
Coordinate, track and manage project implementation for selected revenue strategy initiatives
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and follow company policies and procedures
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
Requirements:
Candidate must be currently enrolled in a university or hotel school degree program at time of application
University or Hotel School undergraduates specializing and studying in hospitality related fields will be preferred for certain internship positions
For more specialist disciplines, for example those students pursuing business or similar related courses, consideration is also given for those related internship opportunities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work in group settings and/or independently
Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects
Demonstrates problem solving skills
