Job Description:

As an Intern in Customer Behaviour, you will analyze the buying process for IKEA sofas, identifying key drivers and barriers. You will work onsite in Haarlem, Netherlands for 3-4 months, starting in early September. This internship offers an inclusive environment, a supportive team, and professional development opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer journey for IKEA’s sofas
  • identify criteria that consumers find most important when purchasing sofas
  • analyze drivers and barriers for IKEA and its key competitors
  • understand the specific journeys for different income groups and lifestyle segments
  • learn about willingness to pay at IKEA versus willingness to pay at competitors.

Requirements:

  • Doing this internship as part of your school's degree
  • following an education at a Dutch school
  • passionate about consumer behavior and commercial analysis
  • skilled in data analysis with an HBO education level
  • proficient in English
  • able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • able to work from the office in Haarlem at least 50% of your time.
