Job Description:

IKEA London City are looking to welcome an Interior Designer to join their team across Oxford Street and Hammersmith. Working in IKEA London City gives you the opportunity to experience a multi-site way of working.

Job Responsibility:

Use Interior Design competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity
Inspire and surprise visitors
Plan inspiring commercial displays for the store
Implement and bring plans to life on the shop floor
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure a seamless shopping experience
Contribute to position the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in local market
Stay updated on trends in home furnishing & retail experience
Work in multi-site way of working across both IKEA Oxford Street and IKEA Hammersmith

Requirements:

Degree in a relevant creative field
Working knowledge in design software such as Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Passion for home furnishings, design and how people live
Ability to generate new ideas to inspire customers
Hands-on approach, feeling at ease working with various hand tools
Comfortable working at heights
