Interior Designer

• You use home furnishing competence to create home furnishing solutions in room settings, homes, vignettes and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity
• You contribute to the creation of a Showroom matrix that reflects a wide variety of styles, living situations and price levels to create a good tempo with distinct visual impressions
• You actively contribute to developing, implementing, and evaluating store communication strategies that support a convenient shopping experience by using knowledge about life at home and shopping behaviour in the local market
• You work together with the Comm&In team and other functions in identifying commercial opportunities by staying up to date with knowledge about home furnishing, communication and retail design trends
• You ensure high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness in planning and implementation of all range presentation solutions using global tools, proven solutions and IKEA best practices that will support a convenient shopping experience and reflect the local needs of life at home

• At least 3 years relevant work experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably gained from the home furnishing industry with a valid license from board of ID
• Knowledgeable of trends that influence home furnishing and retailing in the Philippines
• Familiar with range presentation & home furnishing the IKEA way (layout as a commercial tool, store media, display techniques)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with others in various situations
• Flexible and hands-on, with keen eye for details
