Job Description:

Responsible for creating visual impact in commercial, sales support and co-worker areas, strengthening the IKEA brand and exceeding customer expectations through interior design solutions that reflect home furnishing the IKEA way.

Job Responsibility:

Translate customers' insights into relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial home furnishing solutions
Maintain deep knowledge about home furnishing, retailing and trends
Support development of department's action plan with interior design initiatives
Ensure team keeps customers in mind and communicates necessary information
Cooperate with key stakeholders and adapt interior design solutions
Lead and manage interior design team through planning, coaching and coordinating activities

Requirements:

Inspiring and motivating leader passionate about fashion, design and home furnishing trends
At least 5 years of managerial experience in Interior Design or visual merchandising in retail environment
Broad knowledge of trends influencing home furnishing, retail design and communication
Capable to lead while communicating in inspirational way with IKEA tone of voice
Ability to apply abstract design concepts and guidelines to develop inspiring home furnishing ideas

Nice to have:

Experience in home furnishing sector
Strong aptitude to share creative ideas, concepts and solutions
