Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Interim Controller to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee key financial functions and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounting and controllership while collaborating closely with various departments.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
prepare and review consolidated financial statements to maintain accuracy and compliance
oversee budget processes and provide guidance on financial planning and forecasting
ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to established standards and regulations
evaluate and optimize the use of accounting software systems to improve efficiency
collaborate with internal teams to implement and maintain effective financial controls
monitor and analyze financial performance to support decision-making and strategic planning
generate detailed financial reports using tools such as Crystal Reports
provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering growth and development
address and resolve complex financial issues as they arise

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
proficiency in accounting software systems and financial reporting tools
strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles
demonstrated expertise in preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements
experience overseeing budget processes and financial planning
ability to work with Crystal Reports for financial reporting purposes
excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team development
strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex financial challenges
