Requirements

Minimum of 2 years insurance sales experience – ideally motor vehicle
Fluency and confidence in dealing with customers over the phone and face to face
Ability and flexibility to work as part of a team
Ability to negotiate with insurers

Job Responsibility

Providing assistance and support to customers both face to face and over the telephone
Specialising in the local area, providing quotations to taxi drivers, setting up and maintaining links with bases, fleet owners etc
General administration including renewals, mid-term adjustments, extensions to covers, invoicing and handling client queries
Quality control and ensuring high standards of customer service
Checking and issuing documentation to clients
Building relationships with new and existing clients

Requirements

Previous experience influencing sales- either in a retail setting where you worked to targets, an insurance setting, call centre environment or office based sales
Confident and engaging personality- able to build great rapport over the phone
Happy to work in a target driven environment

Job Responsibility

Making calls to customers who have registered to say they would like to open or renew a policy
Building a relationship with the customer on the phone as you talk to them about their lifestyle and policy requirements
Inputting all information onto system accurately whilst listening to the customer
Consulting the customer on potential policies that could be right for them- discussing price, cover levels, restrictions etc.
Guiding customers who have enquired about Insurance products through a set of questions to determine the best policy for them
