As an ORMB (Oracle Revenue Management and Billing - Version 2.9/3.X and above on RHEL 7/8 OS, Oracle 19C Database , WebLogic & OHS at the middleware level ) administrator the role’s responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks focused on managing and maintaining the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing system, ensuring its smooth operation and integrity.

Installation, Administration, Maintenance of and Tech Support for Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) Product
Requirements:
Setting up and maintaining development, test, and production environments for ORMB in Virtual Infrastructure built with RHEL 7/8 OS
Cloning environments between different stages and applying necessary patches and updates
Setting up and overseeing the migration of data between environments
Automating batch jobs using tools like Tivoli Scheduler
Tuning system parameters for ORMB, CCB, and batch instances to optimize performance
Strong understanding of Oracle database, Middleware products used for ORMB deployments in RHEL 7/8 virtual Infrastructure, including flair for performance tuning and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Cloud technologies, virtualized hosts and database infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, SRE and other modern practices
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting technical issues
Identifying and resolving issues related to the ORMB system
Familiarity with Service Level Agreements and ticketing tools for tracking and resolving issues
Participating in design and code review processes
Understanding and managing business requirements for the ORMB system
Assisting with project management aspects, such as planning, tracking, and risk management
Communicating with various stakeholders, including engineering, business, and product management teams
Working collaboratively with other teams, such as UX/CX and development teams
Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the ORMB system
Ensuring proper backup and recovery procedures are in place
Participating in release deployment activities
Installation, Administration, Maintenance of and Tech Support for Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) Product
