Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Delivery Manager to lead complex Azure infrastructure programmes in regulated, security-sensitive environments. This role involves end-to-end ownership of large-scale cloud and data initiatives, working closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver secure, compliant outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead Delivery: Manage large-scale Azure Cloud Infrastructure projects
  • Oversee the implementation of best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and regulatory requirements within Azure environments
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute customer engagement plans, focusing on needs and infrastructure scalability
  • Project Management: Maintain project data, planning, and forecasting in Codec’s PM tool (Projector), with a focus on infrastructure and security milestones
  • End-to-End Accountability: Manage all aspects from pre-sales through to implementation and secure handover to operational support
  • Reporting: Deliver regular project monitoring updates to the Head of the Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Interdependency Management: Identify and manage dependencies between all project workstreams and vendors
  • Governance: Collaborate with Codec’s Resource Management Office and Senior Leadership Team to address client security concerns and maintain high standards
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet strict security and infrastructure quality gates
  • RAID Management: Identify, document, and manage project risks
  • Cost & Resource Management: Estimate project costs, manage resources

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in Senior Project Delivery Management, with a focus on Azure Infrastructure
  • Project Management Certification: Prince2 Practitioner/PMP
  • Enterprise Experience: Proven track record delivering large-scale Azure infrastructure projects in heavily regulated environments
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Data & AI project delivery
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Experience managing teams across infrastructure, security, and operations
  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled in MS Project and familiar with Projector or similar automation tools
  • Methodologies: Experience with agile, waterfall, and hybrid project management, especially in security-sensitive environments
  • MS Azure Driven: Strong focus on delivering secure, compliant Azure infrastructure solutions
  • Planning & Multitasking: Expert in planning, prioritising tasks, and managing multiple infrastructure projects to tight deadlines
