Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee large-scale IT infrastructure initiatives within the healthcare industry. This long-term contract position is based in West Palm Beach, Florida, and requires a strategic leader who can manage complex projects while driving results in clinical and hospital environments. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strong communication abilities to ensure seamless execution of infrastructure upgrades and modernization projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects, including data center modernization, network deployments, and security implementations
  • Oversee infrastructure upgrades and migrations to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery, and manage performance
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures
  • Utilize project tracking tools to build dashboards and executive-level reports for leadership
  • Operate within structured IT governance frameworks to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Escalate issues and manage risks effectively to maintain project timelines and quality
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure, applications, and security departments
  • Present project status updates to leadership and steering committees with clarity and precision
  • Ensure all project objectives align with healthcare-specific requirements and standards

Requirements:

  • 8–10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure
  • At least 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects in the healthcare industry
  • Proven expertise in data center operations, network technologies, and structured cabling
  • Familiarity with clinical environments and hospital systems
  • Strong skills in vendor management and contract oversight
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools and creating executive-level reporting views
  • Knowledge of IT governance models and risk management practices
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and present to senior leadership
