Job Description:

Citigroup Services Technology is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Lead to build and maintain efficient infrastructure across Production, QA, and Development environments, manage projects/programs for enterprise solutions, implement best practices, and drive production stability and availability. Candidates should have 10+ years of experience in infrastructure delivery, cloud technologies exposure, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. A Bachelor's in Computer Science or IT and relevant certifications are preferred.

Job Responsibility:

Display strong working relationship with technology development teams, architecture & engineering teams, testing teams, project management teams and infrastructure teams to identify technical and functional needs of infrastructure/platform needs and determine prioritization
work with Architecture and Engineering teams/ cross-functional teams to develop standards through templates and process to enforce best practices for software development to ensure platform/environments are stable
create comprehensive business requirement plans and champion Cloud / IaaS/PaaS adoption of new platforms during IT transformations
provide Technology Benefit and Business Benefit for any new investment to procure Infrastructure
implement environment maturity models (Production, Contingency, Disaster Recovery) and coordinate build activities
drive adoption to implement industry best practices ensuring production stability and availability
manage projects/programs for enterprise solutions and environment build for business-critical applications and client testing environments
evaluate capacity needs and estimate capacities based on utilization and growth trends
manage day-to-day tasks / activities in coordination with a team of dev leads to meet the deliverables and schedule
organize environment/platform related scope of work, planning, change and release management to meet tight deadlines
assess impacts during implementation and Go Live of application components
provide cost / benefit analysis and investment/funding estimates
partner with other infra leads to drive quality across application onboarding and production stability initiatives
engage with Client relationship managers and various internal stakeholders to review business requirements and provide solutions to manage SLAs, KPIs, and resolve conflicts
document lessons learnt and measure Key performance metrics for continuous improvements
create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and restore services
review requirement documents, define hardware requirements, and update processes and procedures
ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements such as EOVS upgrades

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in roles centered around infrastructure delivery (application hosting and/or end user services) with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
experience in Expert level skills in SQL, Windows, Linux, Oracle, MSSQL
exposure to Cloud based technologies, Micro services, OpenShift, AWS, Google, Azure, etc.
experience in managing Infrastructure projects for Enterprise Container Solutions/OpenShift/ Cloud by defining scope, dependencies, and priorities
knowledge of industry standard tools and technologies such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace and other Observability tools
basic level skills in MQ, TIBCO, Java, Kafka, MQ, Tomcat, JBoss and Middleware/Messaging
understanding of how specialization within area contributes to the business and of competitors' products and services
ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices
ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline
a self-starter who can deliver well as part of a team
ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines
presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
strong relationship builder, works as a partner with multiple stakeholders and business areas
experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
effective written and verbal communication skills
effective analytic/diagnostic/problem solving skills
ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Master’s degree preferred
industry certification such as PMP or Technology certifications preferred
