Job Description:

As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of IKEA’s digital assets, establishing information security standards, aligning strategies with overall business goals, and mitigating threats. You will also conduct gap assessments, create security dashboards, and work closely across teams to produce secure solutions while ensuring business needs are met.

Job Responsibility:

To drive and to ensure the security of the IKEA’s digital assets
To establish information security standards, awareness and as well as to communicate the information security practices in the organization
Responsible for the establishment of information security standards and guidelines to ensure that systems are designed and built in a manner that minimizes security risk while ensuring business needs are met
Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy
Identify security design gaps in existing, proposed and recommend solutions, changes or enhancements
Identify and communicate current and emerging information security threats
Design security elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
Set up and ensure execution of a continuous information security monitoring plan, while coordinating technology specific remediation activities as part of continuous monitoring
Identify and document security risks, and mitigate controls where necessary
Create and maintain dashboards for various Information Security KPIs
Resolve incidents, requests and activities and perform defect and root cause analysis with the objective to continuously improve information security
Work closely together to produce design specifications according to information security policies, while fulfilling business needs
Conduct Gap Assessments and audits
Ensure timely completion of the action items to resolve audit findings
Practice consistency in processes, toolsets and focused on information security
Work across cross functionally, steering solutions towards a secure environment

Requirements:

ISO 27001:2013 Certification
Proven advanced training in information technology, computer science or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in information security
Demonstrable experience in security solutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies
Demonstrable experience in implementing business policies to support best practice in information security
Excellent knowledge of security solutions, tools, methodologies and techniques
Extensive knowledge of how to define and implement strategies for security- and compliance monitoring and risk mitigation
Experience in development and design of security best practices and implementation of security principles across organizations, to meet business goals and customer and regulatory requirements
Experience in how to model threats & risks as well as the controls necessary to mitigate them, on both an organizational and technical level
Passionate about the mitigation of security risks
Analyze existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements
Ability to capture, interpret and translate information security policies and regulations into requirements
Prepare reports and action plans
Understanding of Risk, Incident Management, Business Continuity Management
Organize and conduct security awareness sessions
Experience in conducting gap assessments and audits against security standard
Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and importance of information security as an integrated part of the business
Good communication skills
Share and live the IKEA culture and values
Willingness to work on call in the event of a security breach or other urgent requirement
