Job Description:

Join a high-precision mechanical services team working on industrial rotating equipment. You’ll specialize in disassembling, rebuilding, diagnosing, and reassembling reciprocating compressors and industrial engines, ensuring they meet tolerances and quality standards. Your work will directly impact uptime, reliability, and cost savings for key clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Disassemble, rebuild, and reassemble reciprocating compressors and industrial engines
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, root-cause failures
  • Read and interpret prints, blueprints, and schematics to identify replacement parts
  • Measure component wear using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.
  • Prepare written repair assessments and reports for management
  • Recommend parts or components based on condition and tolerances
  • Ensure rebuilt equipment meets quality and dimensional standards

Requirements:

  • 3 years of hands-on experience rebuilding reciprocating compressors or industrial engines
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient reading of prints/schematics
  • Skilled with precision measuring tools
  • Own the necessary hand tools for the work (Preferred)
  • Good communication (written & verbal)
  • Reliable, safety-minded, detail-oriented
