Job Description:

Lead and develop sourcing strategies for a prestigious global automotive brand in Japan – a dynamic and rewarding role offering significant career growth! Our client is a leading global automotive manufacturer renowned for its high-performance vehicles and commitment to innovation. The Japan subsidiary is a key part of their international operations, offering a collaborative and challenging environment for professionals seeking to make a significant impact within a prestigious brand.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and execute procurement activities for indirect goods and services
Develop and implement sourcing strategies
Create and manage RFQs (Requests for Quotation)
Select and manage suppliers
Negotiate contracts and terms
Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities
Drive cost optimization initiatives
Coordinate with other Group brands
Educate internal employees on procurement policies and processes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in indirect procurement, ideally within the automotive industry or a similarly regulated environment
High proficiency in MS Office
experience with SAP MM is a plus
Strong negotiation and communication skills (Japanese and English)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Language skills are a mandatory requirement
