Job Description:

Are you an Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Liverpool? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility! Join our team as an IP Pharmacist within a GP surgery setting and play a key role in supporting patients with long-term conditions and minor ailments. This role is full-time, onsite and offers an hourly rate of £35–£45.

Job Responsibility:

assess, prescribe and manage patients with hypertension and minor ailments
conduct comprehensive medication reviews and optimise prescribing
work autonomously while supporting GPs and the wider MDT
deliver evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes
maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

Requirements:

current registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
independent prescribing qualification
prior experience working in a GP surgery or primary care setting
strong clinical knowledge in hypertension and minor ailments management
excellent communication skills and ability to work within an MDT
