Job Description:

The COACH – Community and Opportunities at Children’s Hospital – internship program mission is to create a pathway for emerging healthcare professionals, offering hands-on experience, structured development, and dedicated mentorship. The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 8-Friday, August 14, 2026. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the setup and operation of simulator technologies, including anatomic models, task trainers, and full-body patient simulators
  • Maintain inventory, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and perform checks on simulation devices and AV systems
  • Learn about simulation technology and healthcare safety protocols
  • Attend a 2-day program orientation and onboarding
  • Participate in virtual and in-person workshops and activities

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate college student in good academic standing
  • Enrolled in a two-or four-year program for Fall 2026
  • Interest in working in healthcare
