Provide imagery science support specifically related to the exploitation of imagery of the following sensor disciplines: Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Thermal Infrared, Spectral, or Geospatial to include OPIR, Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Photogrammetry and Light Imaging Detection and Ranging (LIDAR).
Job Responsibility:
Provide imagery science support related to the exploitation of imagery of sensor disciplines
Provide technical analytical expertise in support of the USMC National Geospatial-Intelligence Program
Provide recommendations of operational GEOINT architectures, and FSG guidance
Participate in the development of program strategies, issues papers, briefings, and senior-level correspondence
Provide technical assistance in establishing relationships NSG functional managers
Provide guidance and expertise to improve competency of military and civilian analysts
Support the development of collection strategies
Support the development and dissemination of FSG products
Provide knowledge on a variety of geospatial exploitation software suites
Develop and standardize innovative and adaptive full spectrum GEOINT products and services
Provide research and guidance on sensor application
Assist in analyzing and conducting statistical analyses on image datasets
Collaborate with and provide scientific support to imagery/geospatial analysis
Provide Imagery Science expertise to support GEOINT analysis and assessments
Evaluate commercial, academic, and outside approaches and algorithms
Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
Full Spectrum Imagery experience
Ability to conduct research to identify traditional and non-traditional raster/vector sources for GEOINT analysis and production
Ability to use GEOINT data science principles and associated competencies
Ability to observe data management best practice
Ability to extract, derive, or synthesize feature/attribute data conforming to applicable NSG standards
Ability to apply spatio-temporal reasoning, GEOINT processing and methodologies
Minimum: High School Diploma
5 to 10 years of IMINT/GEOINT experience desired
Experience briefing senior military leadership and policy makers
Active TS/SCI DoD clearance
U.S. Citizenship required
Nice to have:
Preferred certifications from NGA or other military IMINT/GEOINT courses
