Job Description:

IKEA Food Team Leader position in Coquitlam, responsible for leading food service operations and ensuring excellent customer experience while maintaining food quality, safety standards, and team development.

Job Responsibility:

Contribute and support the implementation of the store business plan and IKEA food action plan
Promote a safety-first culture and coach fellow coworkers
Ensure kitchen is always in optimal state, equipment well maintained, and products in perfect condition
Follow proper processes and procedures for food preparation, safety and waste reduction
Actively learn about food and share knowledge with customers and team members
Keep customers in focus ensuring excellent shopping experience

Requirements:

Sales driven and service minded with experience of serving customers
Passion for food and IKEA's food offering, products and design
More than 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume food service environment
Flexible and able to execute action plans
Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
Inspired by IKEA Leadership approach and leading by example
