Job Description:

Support the daily operations of IKEA Food Restaurant by delivering excellent customer service, handling cashier transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant area

Job Responsibility:

Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the restaurant area by clearing dishes and utensils
Clean tables and chairs
Dispose and clear food wastage from the central clearing area
Adhere to standard operating procedures and uphold high standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness (Q.S.C.)
Comply with food safety, hygiene practices and health and safety regulations at all times
Handle cashier duties including accurate processing of sales transactions
Perform stock checks and ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date
Promote sales through effective upselling and recommending add-ons to customers

Requirements:

Team player
Customer-service oriented
Able to cope in a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant
Comfortable with maintaining restaurant cleanliness
Able to manage cashiering duties
Able to withstand prolonged hours of standing
Able to lift heavy trays
Able to commit to working on AM/PM shifts, including weekend and public holiday
