We’re launching our second annual IAP Hackathon for MIT, Harvard, and Olin students! If you’re organized, strategic, and curious about how great events are planned and executed, we want you as our IAP Hackathon Micro-Intern.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the main point of contact for 50 hackathon participants
confirm BOM (bill of materials) details, participant registration and waivers, and any other pre-event logistics
Coordinate pre-event and day-of internal logistics with safety, facilities, and engineering teams at Formlabs
Place, receive, and organize supply orders for each team
Order catering and refreshments for Hackathon weekend
Assist with setup, event flow, and communication during Hackathon weekend (January 30-February 1)
Contribute to other student-facing talent brand initiatives including our in-kind donations program and program communications
Requirements:
Can work independently to manage multiple schedules and projects with a strong attention to detail
Excellent communicator
you can easily establish relationships, are comfortable presenting in front of groups, and can clearly communicate your ideas in writing across various audiences
Nice to have:
Familiarity with event planning best practices, SLA/SLS printing, and/or hardware prototyping tools
