Join Our Dynamic Onsite Technical Team at Forza Foods! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Line Leader to become a vital part of our onsite Hygiene Team at our Protein site in Normanton. If you are passionate about Hygiene and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Job Responsibility:

  • To ensure cleaning procedures, practices and standards are re-evaluated in line with best practice, customer guidelines and legislation
  • To plan and organise resource to ensure that all areas of the factory are covered with the relevant skills and experience including deep cleaning
  • To identify training needs and report to the Hygiene Trainer and Hygiene Manager where required to ensure the relevant training can be carried out
  • To help with training where required
  • Carry out Chemical dosage checks
  • Carry out ATP swabs
  • To inspect lines to ensure cleaning has been carried out correctly and arrange re cleaning if and when necessary
  • Ensure task sheets and other paperwork are completed accurately
  • To maintain excellent communication within the team
  • To ensure a safe working environment is kept for all colleagues
  • Report any Health & Safety issues to the Hygiene Management
  • Stand in for Supervisors to cover holiday / absence

Requirements:

  • Motivate and supervise a team of operatives to achieve required production volumes at the specified quality and minimum cost
  • Monitor production efficiency using SIC boards and KPI information
  • Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards throughout your department
  • Monitor labour costs for all operational areas against standards, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure consistent and accurate flow of production data for KPI reporting, in conjunction with the Production Manager
  • Continuously review production methods and systems to improve efficiency across multiple lines
  • Monitor waste levels and take appropriate measures to reduce them
  • Set up department machinery each day to maximise performance and productivity
  • Liaise with the Personnel Manager and Training Officer to develop and deliver effective training programmes, ensuring appropriate multi-skilling and identifying individuals with potential for advancement
  • In conjunction with the Technical Team and Production Controllers, ensure all production control procedures meet company, customer, and FSA standards
