We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations for our aerospace organization in Fort Worth, Texas. This position involves leading HR functions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a collaborative and accountable environment. The role requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to supporting executive leadership and employees at all levels.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all aspects of HR operations for a workforce of 132 employees, ensuring policies and processes align with organizational goals
Supervise and provide guidance to an HR team member while supporting their growth and attention to detail
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as aerospace industry regulations
Address employee relations issues, including investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution
Lead recruitment efforts, including workforce planning, onboarding, and talent acquisition strategies
Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and payroll coordination, including system-based processes
Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook to reflect current standards and practices
Collaborate with leadership to implement succession planning, retention strategies, and organizational development initiatives
Manage personnel records and ensure audit readiness for regulatory compliance
Support performance review processes and employee development programs to enhance workforce capabilities
Requirements:
Must have a FAA background in aerospace industry
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 7 years of progressive experience in HR management
Previous experience in aerospace, regulated manufacturing, or similar industries is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance practices
Proven ability to handle employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution
Experience managing direct reports and leading HR initiatives
Familiarity with HR systems such as Paycom is preferred
Nice to have:
Certifications in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR) are a plus but not required
