Job Description:

Seeking a Human Resources Manager (HRBP) to act as a strategic HR partner supporting one or more business divisions in Japan. This position plays a key role in driving business success through effective talent strategies — attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining top talent. The role reports directly to the HR Director, Japan, and offers excellent opportunities for long-term career growth into more senior HR leadership roles.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with General Managers and their leadership teams to develop and implement a comprehensive talent plan
  • Collaborate with business leaders to design and execute initiatives that foster a high-performance culture, strong employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness
  • Build a deep understanding of the business model, competitive environment, and strategic priorities to align HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Lead the implementation of divisional talent strategies, translating high-level objectives into specific actions, measurable outcomes, and milestones
  • Oversee and ensure the effective execution of talent acquisition, development, and succession planning processes within the assigned business areas
  • Align business priorities with HR Practice and Service Centers to ensure effective resource planning and prioritization across functions
  • Collaborate with regional and global HR colleagues to ensure business decisions and initiatives are implemented consistently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, with a strong focus on talent management and employee relations
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with cross-border teams and stakeholders
  • international experience highly desirable
