Seeking a Human Resources Manager (HRBP) to act as a strategic HR partner supporting one or more business divisions in Japan. This position plays a key role in driving business success through effective talent strategies — attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining top talent. The role reports directly to the HR Director, Japan, and offers excellent opportunities for long-term career growth into more senior HR leadership roles.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with General Managers and their leadership teams to develop and implement a comprehensive talent plan
Collaborate with business leaders to design and execute initiatives that foster a high-performance culture, strong employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness
Build a deep understanding of the business model, competitive environment, and strategic priorities to align HR initiatives with business objectives
Lead the implementation of divisional talent strategies, translating high-level objectives into specific actions, measurable outcomes, and milestones
Oversee and ensure the effective execution of talent acquisition, development, and succession planning processes within the assigned business areas
Align business priorities with HR Practice and Service Centers to ensure effective resource planning and prioritization across functions
Collaborate with regional and global HR colleagues to ensure business decisions and initiatives are implemented consistently and effectively
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, with a strong focus on talent management and employee relations
Minimum 4 years of experience working with cross-border teams and stakeholders
