Job Description:

To provide HR Systems advice and support to Managers and Staff in the Hospital and ensure compliance with HR policies and relevant legislation in line with best practice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Superuser of the HR System
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to system users
  • Developing existing HR System and assist with the implementation of all new HR Systems
  • Collaborates with IT and Business Intelligence teams to identify system improvements and enhanced reporting
  • Develop the Pay and Benefits areas to embrace technical solutions e.g. workflows and automation of timesheets
  • Provide ongoing training to Managers on the HR System
  • Analysis of data and provide support to Managers on Data requests where required
  • Work closely with and provide advice and assistance to Heads of Departments, Managers and Staff regarding HR System and Data
  • Assist in the payroll checking process in conjunction with local managers
  • Produce reports on headcount, absence and turnover etc. as required
  • Update and maintain data on relevant systems, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy
  • To work closely with HR colleagues and to work as part of the HR Team providing overall HR support to the hospital
  • Maintain HR records and provide statistical information as required
  • Preparation and Maintenance of Employee HR Files
  • Champion the continuous development & refinement of HR administrative processes and services, procedures to improve efficiency & overall service
  • Payroll: Collation, preparation, and completion of reports for monthly payroll in conjunction with payroll team, managers and payroll providers as required
  • Ensure that processes, policies, systems, and relationships are fair, equitable and foster a culture of openness, trust and inclusion
  • Contribute and lead as appropriate on HR projects, as requested
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 3-5 years’ experience
  • Strong experience working with HR Systems
  • Analytical and Numbers Literate
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills
  • Have a proven ability to be a strong team player and provide support at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal positively with difficult situations
  • Solutions oriented – creative & proactive in approach
  • Ability to prioritise and work to key deadlines
  • Discrete – understanding the importance of confidentiality in the job
