We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Utica, New York. Job Responsibility:
Assist with new hire onboarding, paperwork, orientations, and HRIS updates
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and documentation standards
Serve as the first point of contact for general employee inquiries and direct employees to appropriate HR resources
Support employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs
Prepare HR reports, forms, and communications as needed
Assist with payroll or benefits inquiries by gathering information and routing to the correct teams
Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all HR processes
Requirements:
Proven experience handling sensitive and confidential information
Familiarity with I-9 processing and compliance requirements
Strong multitasking abilities and excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work on-site and adhere to health and safety protocols
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges
Prior administrative or HR experience preferred, but early-career professionals are welcome to apply
