Job Description:

Founded in 2016, the French leather goods brand Polène stands out for its exceptional artisanal craftsmanship, creating timeless pieces with organic designs directly inspired by nature. In a context of rapid growth and international expansion, we are structuring our operations in 2025 and surrounding ourselves with top talent to develop deep expertise at every level of our organization. Our distinctly artistic positioning supports the elevation of our handbag and jewelry collections, backed by 800 artisans in our workshops located in Ubrique, Spain. The story of Polène can be written with you: join us and take part in this journey behind the scenes at our Paris headquarters, already home to more than a hundred people driven by our shared passion for craftsmanship. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly-collaborative and proactive Human Resources Business Partner, who will support our retail stores based in the US, managing the day-to day HR matters and local strategy and initiatives. Reporting to Talent Acquisition Manager based in Paris, you will be based in our New-york office, with a presence in the retail locations. You will be the primary HR contact for our US store teams and play a key role in attracting top talent, supporting our existing boutique as well as in the opening of our future boutiques in the area. As a part of the Talent Acquisition Team The Talent team lies at the heart of Polène’s growth and expansion ambitions. Our team is being structured to support our managers in building their departments. Within the Retail team, your role will be key in identifying and attracting top market talent through a distinctly proactive approach. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our recruitment activity, as everything remains to be built: CRM strategy, hiring manager training, employer branding deployment, international recruitment strategy… You will have a direct impact on the success of our teams through your meticulous selection of candidates, across all our Retail functions—both in the field and at headquarters. This role is strategic for our team and will allow us to establish a true recruitment culture within the company—a function that is still very new to the organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Launch your recruitments in collaboration with Hiring Managers: build your acquisition strategy and define the appropriate sourcing channels, conduct thorough intake meetings and challenge search criteria based on your market knowledge, tailor your collaboration with each Hiring Manager
  • Ensure the quality of candidates presented to our management teams and deliver an excellent candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Actively contribute to team projects: foster TA culture and best practices, review our tools, bring creative ideas to enhance our employer brand, continuously improve our sourcing strategies and talent pool nurturing, lead CRM initiatives, enhance our processes, participate in cross-functional projects with HRBP teams, and conduct in-depth analysis of our recruitment KPIs

Requirements:

  • A true Business Partner mindset and close support for our managers
  • A desire to build and structure in an environment where everything is still being developed: resilience, creativity, and leadership are among your key strengths
  • A recruitment approach strongly focused on headhunting and sourcing
  • A strong affinity for fast-growing environments and the ability to manage multiple recruitments simultaneously
  • You will be a brand ambassador for Polène to all candidates, pitching the brand’s challenges and values with energy and conviction
