Job Description:

The Meridiam Hub (spread across the organization) contributes to Meridiam’s mission through the following core activities: Leading the Portfolio Management reporting process to support internal steering of the portfolio alongside the ongoing external reporting to Meridiam’s Investors. This includes also continuous collection of key data relating to the Portfolio to support ongoing compliance and ensuring the organisations collective memory is retained. Being in charge of the preparation of the reporting to investors and internal decision bodies. Contributing to Knowledge Sharing and Continuous Improvement through managing and overseeing core activities to share knowledge between assets and within Meridiam teams to support Business Development, Project Development and ongoing external communications with our wide range of stakeholders. Managing Hub reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of data and insights across regions to support strategic decision-making and investor communications. The Meridiam Hub is spread across the organization, with 10 staff. The Associate will have exposure to all types of infrastructure projects through the portfolio, gaining a deep understanding of project finance, operations and standard investor requests. The Associate will contribute to the Meridiam Hub team on the following topics, across Europe, Americas, and Africa perimeters:

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparation of the quarterly reporting (internal management reports as well as investor reports), including ESG specific reports
  • Preparation of quarterly presentations for investors with various teams including Investor Relations, Valuation, Compliance, and ESG
  • Contribution to Knowledge Sharing initiatives within the Hub, including the preparation, organization and coordination of webinars, case studies addressing assets and key industry topics including ESG, and investment data,etc.
  • Supporting quarterly valuation process of assets
  • Completing ad hoc due diligence/queries process as required
  • Providing ad hoc support to the Valuation team, Investors Relations team, the ESG team and some Project Companies (SPVs)

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in financial or technical due diligence
  • A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering
  • Keen interest in project finance and ESG
  • Entrepreneurial, demonstrated capacity of work, adaptability and ability to learn quickly new topics
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in French and English (ideally native English speaker)
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize effectively
  • Ability and willingness to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiatives and to multitask in a fast-paced environment
